Many people have to start all their early plants in
the kitchen windows, and the space is usually rather restricted. The cut
shows a stand with a series of boxes, one above another. Each box is pivoted
by screws through the side pieces into the middle of the ends of each box.
The boxes can thus be tilted toward the window to get the full sunlight. The
next day the box can be turned about, and the boxes tilted the other way, as
the sun draws the plants to one side and to the other. Small pegs hold the
boxes in place when tilted. On cold nights the whole stand can be removed
