my daddy has always grown a garden you could feed the town with. one year ha had so many carrots we were gettin burnt out and he started tryin new things-A K A- fried carrots was born. scrub or peel  a pound or two of carrots then slice them in nickel slices. melt butter or margarine in skillet and fry on medium heat with lid for a short time til they start to soften then take off lid and fry like  "fried potatoes". Never had wasted carrots again, all were hooked and still are !!!       seymour
